Fable map: confirmed places in Albion
Playground has not released a world map yet. This page lists every place that Xbox or Playground has named, with a source for each, then the places that appear only in the in-world history, then what fans have worked out from footage.
Our interactive map is planned for early access on . It will only show markers we have checked in the game, not positions guessed from trailers. See what it will include.
How big is Albion?
Ralph Fulton told IGN that Albion covers fewer square miles than a Forza Horizon map. You cross it at horse speed at most, so it is denser and has far more detail. No size in miles or kilometres has been given. Source: GamingBolt (from IGN) (23 Jan 2026)
Albion is fully open. After you leave the starting village you can go to any settlement, no area is locked by level, and each settlement has its own activities and people. Source: Xbox Wire (22 Jan 2026)
Game Informer's preview writer counted six regions. That number comes from a preview, not from Playground. Source: Game Informer (10 Jun 2026)
Horse riding appears in footage, and Lead Game Designer Dan Greer's Xbox Wire post mentions riding into a settlement. There are no official details on mounts or fast travel yet. Source: Xbox Wire (10 Jun 2026)
